What this site is for:

I’m David Martin, an amateur coffee roaster living in Grosse Pointe, MI. I like to supply surplus coffee to people I know. I created this site to facilitate that. I keep a tally of roasted bean inventory on the main page. If we live near each other and you want to try some beans, just message me and we’ll work out the details.

Rules and Caveats

1. I’ll update the inventory table whenever I roast a new batch of beans.
2. If you want any of them, reach out to me via phone or text, or at at beans@undercroft.coffee.
3. I’m not willing to ship beans or deliver them long-distance.
4. I’m not, at least at this time, planning to turn this into a full-fledged roasting business. It’s very much an amateur operation, so I can’t guarantee consistency in production quantities. That said, if you want to work out a recurring supply arrangement, I’m happy to do so.
5. I price my beans deliberately low - about enough to cover the cost of the green beans plus additional roasting expenses. (Currently I’m charging $1 per ounce.) I may decide to increase my pricing in the future. If so I’ll post on the blog about it.
6. I usually package my beans in 10-oz bags, but I’m open to other sizes.
